Men’s Glee Club and Cantus Femina to Perform

ALLIANCE, Ohio The Men’s Glee Club and Cantus Femina will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 26 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 427 E. Broadway St. in Alliance.

The Men’s Glee Club consists of 25 male Mount Union students of various majors. The Cantus Femina is made up of women members studying choral literature written exclusively for women while developing fundamental singing and musician skills.

The concert will feature songs such as All Glory, Laud and Honor, As Beautiful as She, Rainbow ‘Round My Shoulder, Man of LaMancha (I, Don Quixote), Gloria, Laudate Dominum, Pslam 8 (Adonai, Adonenu, The Day, Awake, My Soul!, This Day, The Bright Field and O, Lord support us.  The group will be directed by Grant William Cook, director of choral activities, and assisted by Kathy Reichenberger, piano lecturer and Jenna Grant Linville.
