Mount Grad Named Editor of Academic Journal

October 25, 2012

ALLIANCE, Ohio — Mount Union alumna Teale Harold ’11 has recently been named editor-in-chief for the Whitehead Journal of Diplomacy and International Business Relations.

While at Mount Union, Harold majored in international studies and political science and minored in art and French.

Upon graduation from Mount Union, Harold enrolled in Seton Hall University, a private university located in northern New Jersey. Harold is working toward a Master of Arts degree, focusing on international politics, specifically European Union politics. Her passion from politics stems from her interests in history, current events and different cultures.

“I love that what I am studying and the policies I am creating have an impact and could possibly change the world,” Harold said.

As editor-in-chief, Harold is in charge of managing a staff of 30 fellow students. She and her staff solicit potential authors, edit articles, put on events, advertise the journal and manage the website and blog. The journal publishes two issues each academic year.

“Each issue focuses on different subjects such as politics, energy, and conflict resolution,” Harold said.
