Mount Union's Aimee Schuller Receives Business Excellence Award

April 27, 2010

Aimee Schuller, textbook assistant in the bookstore, has been awarded the Business Excellence Award by Budgetext Corporation of Fayetteville, Arkansas.

This award is given to individuals exhibiting outstanding service to their college community by cutting costs for students through the provision of used textbooks.

Schuller was chosen for this award because of her aggressive pursuit to find sources of affordable used textbooks for Mount Union students. Her efforts have provided students the opportunity to save over $12,000 on textbooks secured from Budgetext Corporation during the spring 2006 semester alone.

'Aimee shows a commitment to cutting costs for students by providing them with the opportunity to purchase used textbooks,' said Rob Cordell, customer service director of Budgetext. 'She has mastered the art of finding the used books Mount Union students need for classes.'
