Mount Union Alliance Chorale Christmas Concert

The Mount Union Alliance Chorale will hold its annual Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 12 at 3 p.m. in the sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church, located at 425 E. Market St. in downtown Alliance.
 
The Chorale will perform Magnificat by Antonio Vivaldi, anthems by Handel and Mozart and traditional Christmas carols. They will also perform an arrangement of Silent Night and The Virgin Mary Had A Baby Boy by Dr. Clarence M. Shearer, interim director of choral activities and visiting professor of music at the University of Mount Union.
 
The Chorale, under the direction of John Roberts, is a combination of Mount Union students and residents from the greater Alliance area.  They have been performing together since 1982.
 
The concert is open to the public. Tickets are $5 for general admission. Tickets are complimentary for students with Mount Union Purple Plu$ Card. For more information, contact the Department of Music at (330) 823-2180.
