Mount Union Alliance Chorale Plans for 27th Season

Practices for the Mount Union Alliance Chorale will begin on Tuesday, September 8 at 7 p.m. in Cope Music Hall at Mount Union College.

The Chorale, entering its 27th season, is under the direction of Mount Union faculty member John Roberts.

Practices will lead up to a holiday concert that will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, located at 425 E. Market St. in Alliance on Sunday, December 6 at 3 p.m. The choral group composed of Mount Union students and adults from the greater Alliance area, will perform music featuring Hallelujah by Beethoven, How Lovely Are Thy Dwellings by Brahms, Shepherd’s Farewell by Berlioz and other holiday favorites.

Starting on September 8, practices will be held every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Cope Music Hall. The Chorale welcomes and encourages any Alliance community members to participate. No audition is required. For further information, contact music director John Roberts at (330) 823-2149.
