ALLIANCE, Ohio - Mount Union College kicks off its 2001 Alumni Weekend events with an Alumni/M Club Golf Scramble, Friday, June 8 at 1 p.m. at Tannenhauf Golf Club.

The golf scramble, with both junior and senior divisions, is open to all Mount Union alumni, friends and their guests. Cost for the scramble, which features a shotgun start, is $60 and includes a luncheon with current and former coaches at 11:30 a.m., 18 holes of golf, a cart and a steak fry at 6 p.m. For those wishing only to attend the post-scramble reception and steak fry, the cost is $25.

The event is sponsored by Mount Union's M-Club, an organization for all current and former Mount Union varsity letterwinners. The scramble traditionally marks the start of the College's annual Alumni Weekend, which features a weekend of events for the alumni and friends who will be on campus June 8-10.
