Mount Union Choir to Perform in Cleveland on November 20

The Mount Union College Choir will take part in the Helen D. Schubert Concert Series by performing at The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Cleveland on Friday, November 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Under the direction of Dr. Scott W. Dorsey, professor of music, the Choir will perform works by Handl, Victoria, Sweelinck, Lauridsen, Walton, Vaughan Williams, Britten and Whitacre.

The Mount Union Choir is one of five choral organizations at Mount Union College.  With roots tracing to 1896, the Choir has toured since its inception, performing to critical acclaim throughout Europe and the Far East.  The Choir has been honored with invitations to perform at the White House, for the American Choral Directors Association and before three separate global gatherings of the United Methodist Church.
