Mount Union College's Dr. James Perone to Present Faculty Recital

Dr. James Perone, associate professor of music at Mount Union College, will present a faculty recital, "James Perone's Rasputin: A Theatre Piece for Two Actors, Strings, Organ and Theremin," on Wednesday, October 16 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

 

The cast and musicians for the production, in addition to Perone, include Dr. Elaine Anderson, assistant professor of music at the College; Dr. Victoria Harris, professor of music at the College; Dr. Douglas Hendel, professor of theatre at the College; Yoko Kikutani, a 2001 graduate of the College; Dr. Jerome Miskell, assistant professor of music at the College; Rudy Roggenkamp, associate professor of theatre at the College; and Bohdan Subchak, instructor of violin at the College.
Perone has been involved with experimental and improvisatory musical and inter-media groups, doing performances in art galleries and concert venues throughout New York, in Cleveland and other centers for contemporary arts. He has had compositions published by Dragonflower Music and Dorn Publications.
