Mount Union College Announces New Director of Service Learning and Community Service

Jennifer Broome has been named as the director of service learning and community service at Mount Union College.

 

Jennifer Broome has been named as the director of service learning and community service at Mount Union College.
As director of service learning, Broome's duties include: promoting service learning among faculty, developing and maintaining community partnerships in service learning, serving as a liaison between faculty and community agencies, and developing and maintaining the Service Learning office budget.
Broome received her bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University. While at Ohio State, she was part of Phi Beta Kappa, Golden Key, Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma.
Before joining the staff at Mount Union, Broome worked as a Peace Corps volunteer in Madagascar, and as a supervisor and group fitness instructor in The Ohio State University recreational sports program.
She is a member of the National Peace Corps Association of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers and Friends of Madagascar. She is also a member of the Paradise United Church of Christ, where she volunteers with the youth group.
