Mount Union College Awarded Grant from Stark Tuscarawas Wayne SWMD

Mount Union College has been awarded a grant from the Stark Tuscarawas Wayne Solid Waste Management District (SWMD) for $14,389.59, to be used for the third phase of construction of the All Persons Trail at the John T. Huston - Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center.
This is the third year the Stark Tuscarawas Wayne SWMD has awarded funds to be used for plastic lumber (using recycled milk jugs) to construct the All Person's Trail at the Nature Center. Phillip Palumbo is the executive director of the Stark Tuscarawas Wayne SWMD. The grant was requested by Dr. Charles McClaugherty, associate professor of biology and director of the Nature Center and Karen Santee, operations manager of the Nature Center.
