Mount Union College Crowns Homecoming King and Queen

During halftime of the Mount Union College vs. Capital University football game on October 1, Aimee Bosworth of Canton and Seth Corder of Dover were named Homecoming Queen and King respectively.

 

Bosworth, a senior early childhood education major, is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and Alpha Lambda Delta honorary. She has appeared on the Dean's List and was a member of the Preview and Orientation staff.

Corder is a senior middle childhood education major. He has served as vice president of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and a member of the Dynamo student newspaper staff. He also has appeared on the Dean's List.

Others in contention for queen included Laura Clunk of Alliance, Sara Stevens of Gibsonia, PA, Dara Plate of North Waterford and Leah Beegan of Cambridge.

Clunk, a senior biology major, is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and Student Senate. She has served as vice president and president of Sophomore Service honorary and appeared on the Dean's List.

A senior business administration and sport management major, Stevens is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta honorary, Sophomore Service honorary and the women's golf team. She also has appeared on the Dean's List.

Plate is a senior early childhood education major and a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, Alpha Lambda Delta honorary, Student National Education Association and Sophomore Service honorary. She has appeared on the Dean's List and was a member of the Preview and Orientation staff.

A senior exercise science major, Beegan has served as treasurer of Alpha Phi Omega, secretary of the Residence Hall Association and as a member of Alpha Lambda Delta honorary. She has appeared on the Dean's List and was a member of the Preview and Orientation staff.

Those in contention for Homecoming King were Jai Govindani of Thailand, Drew DeHart of Radford, VA, Tyler Tremelling of Delroy and John Burkey of Salem.

A senior computer science and mathematics major, Govindani is a member of Sigma Nu fraternity and Student Senate. He has appeared on the Dean's List and was the recipient of the Wilbur and Burdella Stuckey Carl Mathematics Prize.

 

DeHart is a senior media studies major. He is a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity and the football team.

Tremelling, a senior business administration major, is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and has been a member of the men's swimming team.

A senior information systems major, Burkey has been a member of the men's cross country team and Vertical praise band. He also has appeared on the Dean's List.
