Mount Union College Department of Music Presents Guest Violinist Roger Zahab

The Mount Union College Department of Music presents guest violinist Roger Zahab on Monday, February 11 in Presser Recital Hall at 8 p.m.


Roger Zahab will present, "Hearing Into the Mist, a brief 20th century retrospective." Robert Frankenberry will accompany Zahab on piano.

Zahab is an accomplished composer and violin performer. His compositions have been performed in major cities throughout the world. He received his bachelor's in performance (violin) at the University of Akron and his master's in performance from State University of New York at Stony Brook. Zahab is the director of the orchestra and violin instructor at the University of Pittsburgh. Previously, he taught at Mount Union College from 1993 - 1999 and founded and directed the New Music Group at the University of Akron from 1988 - 2001.

The concert is free and open to the public.
