Mount Union College Department of Theatre to Present ?Buried Child?

Mount Union College Department of Theatre will present 'Buried Child' by Sam Shepard October 6, 7 and 8 at 8 p.m. in Rodman Playhouse at Mount Union College.


'Buried Child' takes place on a small farm where a family has been plagued by a dark secret for years. When the secret is uncovered, it purges the family and suggests the possibility for a new beginning.

The cast includes David Jackson, a sophomore from Shaker Heights, as Dodge, the alcoholic grandfather; Jarrod Plate, a freshman from New Waterford as Tilden, Dodge's hulking semi-idiot son; Britta Nugent, a senior theatre major from Akron as Halie, Tilden's mother; Ben Drazil , a sophomore from Parma as Vince, the estranged grandson; Travis Harding, a senior theatre major from Louisville as Bradley, Dodge's other son; Nikki Bowers, a senior business administration major from Alliance as Shelley, Vince's girlfriend; and Mike Vince, a sophomore from Wintersville as Father Dewis, the local minister.
