Mount Union College Department of Theatre to Present ?Wonderful World?

April 15, 2010

The Mount Union College Department of Theatre will present 'Wonderful World,' written by Richard Dresser, on November 16, 17 and 18 at 8 p.m. in Rodman Playhouse.

'Wonderful World' is about how love, honesty, respect-the ties that bind families in the best and worst of times-can be severed through cynicism, would-be infidelity, vinegary pessimism and a growing sense of self-worthlessness.

Prior to the Thursday performance of 'Wonderful World,' Dresser will present the Kershaw Lecture at 6:30 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

The cast includes Ben Drazil, a junior from Parma, as Max; Lexi Glanemann, a freshman from Clyde, as Jennifer, Max's girlfriend; Joe Gennaro, a senior from Streetsboro, as Barry, Max's brother; Brittany Kugler, a junior from Alliance as Patty, Barry's wife; and Aubrey Bowser, a junior from Beaver Falls, PA as Lydia, Barry and Max's mother.

Rodman Playhouse is located on the corner of Simpson Street and Union Avenue on the Mount Union College campus. For more information or to order tickets, please call (330) 821-2565.
