Mount Union College Hires New Director of Multicultural Affairs

LaTashia Reedus is the new director of multicultural student affairs at Mount Union College.
Reedus comes to Mount Union from The College of Wooster, where she was the assistant dean of students for black student affairs.
Reedus received her bachelor's degree in African-American studies and sociology from The University of Cincinnati. She received her master's degree in sociology from The Ohio State University, where she worked as a graduate teaching assistant and a graduate research assistant.
Reedus is responsible for the daily operations of the cultural affairs office and is also responsible for the academic and social needs of minorities attending the College.
Reedus resides in Akron with her husband, Derrick, and their two children Derrick, Jr., 4 and BrieAnna, 2.
