Mount Union College Holds Senior Picnic

April 16, 2010

On Friday, May 6, President Jack and Cynthia Ewing were host to a picnic in honor of Mount Union College's graduating class of 2005. Both seniors and faculty were invited to the President's Home to socialize with one another. This picnic has become a tradition that our seniors and faculty greatly enjoy. It provides one last opportunity for everyone to get together prior to graduation.

Following the picnic, graduation rehearsal was held in the Timken Physical Education Building in preparation for Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 8. Mount Union College is planning for a class of'over 430'graduates at the 159th Commencement Ceremony.

Baccalaureate services will begin at 10 a.m. in the Timken Building, featuring Paul R. White, a 1975 graduate of Mount Union. White is the director of connectional ministries for the East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church.

At 1:30 p.m., the College will begin the Commencement Procession into the Timken Physical Education Building. Featured speaker for this year's Commencement is Dr. Victor J. Boschini Jr., chancellor of Texas Christian University.
