April 19, 2010

Mount Union College has planned a day of remembrance, response and hope for Patriot Day, Thursday, September 11.
American flags will be available at the Hoover-Price Campus Center (HPCC) beginning at 7 a.m. The flags can be "planted" around Memorial Plaza throughout the day.

There will be a prayer service, time for meditation and quiet music in the Dewald Chapel at noon. Also in the afternoon, a white board will be posted in the HPCC for the campus community to express their thoughts.

The Religious Life Council is sponsoring a 24-hour prayer vigil in the Meditation Room of the Dewald Chapel from 8 p.m. September 10 through 8 p.m. September 11.
