Mount Union College Plans Tour of Ireland Trip

Mount Union College alumni and friends will journey overseas on an eight-day adventure in Ireland.

The trip, taking place May 7-15 will include a stay at four and five star hotels including a one-night stay at Dromoland Castle where visitors will receive an Irish breakfast each morning. Dromoland Castle is one of the most famous baronial castles in Ireland. Three lunches and two dinners will be included in the trip as well, including one four-course dinner at Dromoland Castle and one dinner and a show at Abbey Tavern.

Sightseeing will include the Cliffs of Mohr, Limericka, the Ring of Kerry, Killarney, Blarney Castle, Muckross House and Gardens and Cork. In Dublin, members of the tour will visit the Trinity College Library with its book of Kells, Guinness Storehouse and Old James Distillery.

A three-night London extension is also available for Mount Union alumni with one full day of sightseeing including a viewing of Big Ben and
the House of Parliament.

Cost for the tour is $1,820 based on double occupancy excluding airfare. The airfare roundtrip out of Cleveland, OH is $792. These prices are based on the value of the US dollar as of May 25, 2006 and will be adjusted upward or downward at the time of final payment. The cost of the London extension is $700.

A deposit of $300 per person is required for reservation and final payment is due on or before March 1, 2007.
