The Mount Union Players will present, "An Enemy of the People," written by Henrik Ibsen, February 15th and 16th at 8 p.m. and February 17th at 2 p.m. in the Rodman Playhouse.

The story begins when Dr. Stockman, a resident physician a small Norwegian town, learns that the town's medicinal spring waters are contaminated. Upon receiving proof, he makes it his duty to get the word out to the people. As he tries to gain public support for cleaning up the baths, he runs into political cowards, journalists who betray him and spineless citizens. Suddenly he finds himself labeled as an enemy of the people by the same citizens he is trying to save.

The play is directed by Dr. Douglas Hendel, professor of theatre at Mount Union College.
