Mount Union College Presents Alumni Recital

Dr. James D. Feiszli, a 1975 graduate of Mount Union College, and Michelle Regan Feiszli, will be performing a vocal concert on Sunday, November 18 at 7 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.
Dr. Feiszli, tenor, is Director of Music Activities and Professor of Humanities at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. He holds a bachelor's degree in music education from Mount Union College, a master's in music from the University of Akron and doctorate in music from Arizona State University. He owns a music studio, MusikHaus, in Rapid City, South Dakota, which offers voice and piano instruction to private students. He is the director of choirs for Emmanuel Episcopal Church and also directs the Dakota Voices, a community vocal ensemble. He has founded the community choral ensembles Kantorei and Dakota Choral Union. He is president and executive director of ChoralNet - the Internet Center for Choral Music (choralnet.org). He has been a guest conductor, vocal soloist, lecturer and consultant in the United States and abroad.
Michelle Regan Feiszli, soprano, is a former runner-up (1988) and winner (1989) of the Black Hills Young Vocal Artists Competition. A founding member of the Dakota Voices, Michelle teaches piano and voice at MusikHaus and is an account representative at the Black Hills Regional Eye Institute in Rapid City, South Dakota. She has recently been featured with the Black Hills Chamber Orchestra singing J.S. Bach's Cantata 51 for solo soprano.
The concert is free and open to the public.
