Mount Union College Presents "Student-Directed One-Acts"

Mount Union College students will be directing one-act plays on Thursday, April 18 and Saturday, 20 at 8 p.m. in Rodman Playhouse.

 

Mount Union students will present scenes from "The Pajama Game," directed by Aaron Boley, a senior from Akron; "Orpheus in the Underworld," directed by Rebecca Purdum, a junior from North Canton; "Into the Woods," directed by Rebecca Griffith, a junior from Waynesburg and "Kiss Me Kate," directed by Sarah Hyde, a senior from Alfred Station, NY. Musical numbers to be performed will include "Hernando's Hideaway," from "The Pajama Game;" "The Can-Can," from "Orpheus in the Underworld;" "Into the Woods Opening," from "Into the Woods;" and "Another Openin,' Another Show" from "Kiss Me Kate."

The student-directed one-act plays are free and open to the public. Rodman Playhouse is located in Cope Music Hall on the corner of Union Avenue and Simpson Street.
