Mount Union College Recognizes Faculty Members for Receiving Promotions and Tenure

Dr. Richard Marriott, vice president for academic affairs and dean of Mount Union College, recently announced the promotion and/or tenure of ten faculty members at the College.


Those promoted from associate professor to professor were Jamie Capuzza, professor of communication and director of the honors program, and John Recchiuti, professor of history and director of gender studies.

Those promoted from assistant professor to associate professor and granted tenure were Scott Gravlee, associate professor of philosophy and religious studies and Pete Schneller, associate professor of education.

The following faculty members were awarded tenure: Clark Archer, associate professor of computer science and information systems; Albert Gotch, associate professor of chemistry; Deborah Lotsof, associate professor of theatre; Scott Mason, associate professor of chemistry; Judith Jones Walker, associate professor of psychology and Thomas O'Malley, associate professor of mathematics.
