Mount Union College, Stark County and Jackson High School Flute Choirs to Perform at Mount Union Col

Stark County Honors Flute Choir
The Mount Union College Flute Choir, Stark County Honors Flute Choir and Jackson High School Flute Choir will be performing at Mount Union College's Presser Recital Hall on April 23 and 24.

On Tuesday, April 23, the Stark County Honors Flute Choir will perform in Presser Recital Hall at 8 p.m. The group is comprised of some of Stark County's most talented high school students, with admission through recommendation from high school band directors and private flute teachers. The Stark County Honors Flute Choir is under the direction of Robin Tryon, Mount Union College flute instructor. Also performing in the recital will be the Jackson High School Flute Choir, under the direction of Michele Monigold.

On Wednesday, April 24 at 8 p.m., the Mount Union College Flute Choir will perform in recital in Presser Recital Hall. Performing works from Bach to Gershwin, the flute choir will also feature Mount Union flute soloists Jessica Harding, a junior from Massillon; Carrie Hull, a senior from Kensington; and junior Sarah Craig and sophomore Danielle Shaub, both of North Canton. The Mount Union College Flute Choir is also under the direction of Robin Tryon.
