Mount Union College Students Attend Career Fest 2006
February 14, 2006
Seventy-five Mount Union College students recently traveled to Columbus for Career Fest 2006.
This annual event, sponsored by the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC), assists college students in their job search by hosting one hundred eight employers. Employers at this year's event included the IRS, CIA, FBI, The Timken Company, National City Bank, Hyatt Hotels, Marathon Oil and Syracuse Securities, among many others.
Mount Union had the most students attending the event from a single college for the second year in a row.
'We feel this is a very worthwhile event,'said Rebecca Doak, director of career services. "We have already had several students get second interviews as a result of attending."
