Mount Union College Students, Faculty and Staff Participate in "Make A Difference Day"

Mount Union College students, faculty and staff participated in "Make A Difference Day," Saturday, October 26, helping out in various locations in the Alliance community.
Mount Union students spent the night in cardboard boxes in the Quad to raise awareness about homelessness.
"Make A Difference Day" participants helped clean at the Alliance Neighborhood Center.
Participants helped out at the John T. Huston - Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center.
The "Make A Difference Day" volunteers helped with the installation of recycled plastic "lumber" at the Nature Center.
Students, faculty and staff worked side by side at the Nature Center and at various locations throughout Alliance on "Make A Difference" Day.
Mount Union's Association of International Students helped residents of the Alterra Sterling House of Alliance decorate pumpkins.
Students participated in "Take Back the Night," to educate people about domestic violence. The event included a candelight walk to the campus lakes.
