Mount Union College Students Receive Silk Endowed Scholarships

Four Mount Union College students were selected as recipients of the Fred F. Silk Endowed Scholarships for 2003-2004.

The students selected were freshman Brett Pendleton of Canton, sophomore Emily Creamer of Alliance, junior Julie Buckler of Canton and senior Tiffany Zimmer of Alliance.

The award is made each year to one student from each class who obtained elementary and secondary education primarily as a resident of Stark County and is based on academic ability. It was established in 1998 by the Fred F. Silk Charitable Foundation of Canton.
