Mount Union College to Conduct Annual Holiday Shutdown

Mount Union College is conducting its annual shutdown from 5 p.m. Friday, December 22 through Monday, January 1. The College will reopen on Tuesday, January 2.

Mount Union Security will remain in force 24 hours a day during the holiday period. The switchboard will not be staffed after 5 p.m. on Friday, December 22 until Wednesday, December 27 at 8 a.m. A recorded message will inform callers that the College is closed until December 27 and will direct the caller to the security cellular phone in case of an emergency. The switchboard will be temporarily located in the lobby of Beeghly Hall and staffed by a student worker from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27 through Friday, December 29. After 5 p.m., callers will hear a similar recorded message directing them to campus security in case of emergency.

The Offices of Academic Affairs, Admission, International Admission, Registration, Financial Services, Student Affairs, Public Affairs and Marketing, and Human Resources will be closed from 5 p.m. Friday, December 22 through Monday, January 1. During this time, employees will be checking their voicemail periodically.

The Advancement Office will have coverage in their offices located in Beeghly Hall from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 27 through Friday, December 29.

The Office of Business Affairs, also located in Beeghly Hall, will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 27 through Friday, December 29.
