Mount Union College to Conduct Annual Holiday Shutdown

Mount Union College is conducting its annual shutdown from Friday, December 23 through Friday, December 30. The College will reopen on Monday, January 2.

Mount Union Security will remain in force 24 hours a day during the holiday period. The switchboard will not be staffed after 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 22 until Tuesday, December 27 at 8 a.m. A recorded message will inform callers that the College is closed until December 27 and will direct the caller to the security cellular phone in case of an emergency. The switchboard will be temporarily located in the lobby of Beeghly Hall and staffed by a student worker from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday, December 27 through Thursday, December 29. After 5 p.m., callers will hear a similar recorded message directing them to campus security in case of emergency.
The Offices of Admission, International Admission, Registrar, Financial Services, Student Affairs, Public Affairs and Marketing and Human Resources will be closed from Friday, December 23rd through Sunday, January 1st. During this time, employees will be checking their voicemail periodically.
The Office of College Advancement, located in van den Eynden Hall, will have coverage from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, December 23 and Monday, December 26 through Friday, December 30.
The Office of Business Affairs, located in Beeghly Hall, will be open from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. from Tuesday, December 27 through Thursday, December 29.
