Mount Union College To Hold Faculty Research Forum

Mount Union College will be holding a Faculty Research Forum on Monday, November 5 in Room 111 of Chapman Hall at 6:30 p.m.

Dr. G. Scott Gravlee will present "The Concept of Hope in Ancient Greek Philosophy."

Dr. Ernest O. Pratt will present "Teacher Work Sample Methodology: An investigation into the degree of alignment between the contents of mathematical work samples in the NCTM standards in work samples produced by student teachers at Western Oregon University between 1991- 1999."

Dr. John Kirchmeyer will discuss "Interactive Set Language: A Tool for Learning and Teaching Mathematics."

Dr. Michael Olin-Hitt, interim Dean of the College, will make the summary and concluding remarks and serve as moderator and chairman.
