Mount Union College to Hold Symposium on Presidency of George W. Bush on March 1

Mount Union College will be hosting a symposium on Saturday, March 1 that will include numerous panels and roundtables focusing on the presidency of George W. Bush in the Hoover-Price Campus Center. The panels will consist of several experts on distinctive political issues.
The day will begin with a coffee reception at 8 a.m. The welcome and introduction will start at 8:30 a.m., with Panel 1 on foreign policy immediately following. Panel 2 will begin at 9:45 a.m. and will focus on presidential rhetoric and beyond.
The first roundtable, occurring from 11 a.m. to noon, will be a discussion on foreign policy and national security. There will be an hour and a half break following this roundtable.
Panel 3 on the politics of war will begin at 1:45 p.m. From 3-3:45 p.m., participants will have the opportunity to meet Robert Draper, author of Dead Certain. Panel 4 will be held from 4-5 p.m. The topic of this final panel will be governing and domestic policy.
