Mount Union College to Host Third Annual SCHOLAR Day on April 20

Mount Union College will be hosting its third annual Student Celebration Honoring Our Latest Academic Research (SCHOLAR) Day, a campus-wide day filled with presentations showcasing the outstanding scholarship of Mount Union students, on Tuesday, April 20 on Mount Union’s campus.
SCHOLAR Day provides a campus-wide venue that gives Mount Union students a chance to share their latest academic research with faculty, staff, students, family, friends and the community.
Poster Session I and refreshments are scheduled from 9 – 9:45 a.m. in Cope Music Hall and the Crandall Art Gallery. Presentation I will follow from 10 – 11 a.m. The Honors Convocation and Great Teacher Award will be presented at 11:30 a.m. in the Mount Union Theatre.
Presentation II will begin at 1:30 – 2:30 p.m., followed by Poster Session II and refreshments from 2:30 – 3:15 p.m. in Bracy Hall. SCHOLAR Day will conclude with Presentation III which is scheduled from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
SCHOLAR Day is free and open to the public. A detailed schedule of all presentations as well as a campus map can be found on the Mount Union website at www.mountunion.edu/scholarday.
Programs will also be available the day of the event and guides will be stationed at all presentation facilities.
