Mount Union College to Present ?A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to The Forum?

The Mount Union College Department of Theatre will present the Broadway musical 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.'

The show, directed by Dr. Doug Hendel, Professor of Theatre at Mount Union, will premiere on Friday, February 16 at 8 p.m. Additional shows will be on Saturday, February 17, Thursday, February 22, Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24 at 8 p.m. Also, on Sunday, February 18, there will be a performance at 2 p.m. All shows will be held in the Rodman Playhouse.

This comedy, based on the book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart, tells the story of a slave named Pseudolus, played by Tarion Young of Alliance, who is owned by Lycus, played by Matt Seidel of Sebring. Pseudolus encourages the romance between his master's son Hero, played by Ben Drazil of Parma, and Philia, played by Lauren Brobeck of Salem.
