'Proof' tells the story of a troubled young woman, Catherine, who has spent years caring for her brilliant but unstable father, a famous mathematician. Now, following his death, she must deal with her own volatile emotions, the arrival of her estranged sister, Claire and the attentions of Hal, a former student of her father's. Hal has come to Catherine in hopes of finding valuable work in the 103 notebooks that her father left behind.
The long weekend brings a burgeoning romance and the discovery of a mysterious notebook. The surprising events draw Catherine into the most difficult problem of all: How much of her father's madness-or genius-will she inherit?
The cast includes Catherine, played by junior Jillian Stelzner of Pittsburgh, PA; Claire, played by junior Kelly M.J. Andrews of North Canton, OH; Robert, played by junior David Jackson Shaker Heights, OH and Hal, played by junior Michael Vince of Wintersville, OH.
