Mount Union College to Present Halim: Flutes Around the World on January 30

On Wednesday, January 30 at 8 p.m., the Halim Flute Duo will present Flutes Around the World in Presser Recital Hall. This concert is sponsored by Temple Israel in Canton.

Hagit Rosmanrin and Gil Bohadana will present a show that gives the audience music from all over the world. The pair has studied folk music, travelled the world and collected many different flutes.

Rosmarin studied at Rimon School of Music in Israel and at Mannes College of Music in New York City. She has performed different types of music in New York, Israel and Europe.

Gil Bohadana is a wind instrument player. He has created instruments for youth in Israel and England and has performed in shows where the instruments were made of recycled materials.

This concert is free and open to the public. Presser Recital Hall is located in the Cope Music Hall on the corner of Simpson Street and Union Avenue on the Mount Union campus. For additional information, contact the Department of Music at (330) 823-2180.
