Mount Union College to Present Vocal Showcase Recital

The Mount Union College Department of Music will present a vocal showcase recital on Sunday, October 8 in Presser Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m.

Mount Union College students will perform solos composed by such classics as Franz Schubert, Ludwig van Beethoven and Giacomo Puccini.

Sophomore Alicia Andreani, a soprano, will perform Come to the Fair by Easthope Martin. Andreani is from Alliance, OH.
Freshman Ralena Mae Bevington, a soprano from Louisville, OH, will perform two solos.

Senior Natalie Dubinsky, a mezzo-soprano from Rootstown, OH, will perform a solo by Beethoven and one arranged by Mark Hayes.

Sophomore David J. Harris, a baritone, will perform a hymn arranged by Aaron Copland. Harris hails from Cranberry Township, PA.

Laura Jurasko, a sophomore soprano, will perform a piece by Schubert. Jurasko is from Mingo Junction, OH.
Junior Jaclyn Kurtz, a soprano, will perform two solos. Kurtz is from Hudson, OH.

Sophomore Kayla Moles will perform to solos in soprano. Moles hails from Canal Fulton, OH.
Senior Andrew Morales, a tenor, will perform two solos as well as a duet with fellow student Beatrice Petzinger. Morales is from Mentor, OH.

In addition to her duet with Morales, Petzinger will perform a solo. She is a senior from Poland, OH.
Maria Oblak, a junior from Rome, OH will perform a solo in soprano by Puccini.

Amanda Tweddell will perform a piece from Wicked in mezzo-soprano. Tweddell is a sophomore from Parma, OH.
Senior Michael J. Vince is from Wintersville, OH. Vince, a tenor, will perform two solos.

Tarion Young, a senior from Alliance, OH, will perform two solos in tenor.
Students will be accompanied by Kathy Reichenberger and Janelle Phinney on piano.
