Mount Union College Trombone Ensemble To Perform

The Mount Union College Trombone Ensemble will present a concert Friday, November 30 at 8 p.m. in the Dewald Chapel on the college campus.

The concert will include "Agnus Dei" from the Four Part Mass, by Thomas Tallis and arranged by Scott Vaillancourt; "As Time Goes By," by Herman Hupfeld and arranged by Jack Gale; "Night and Day," by Cole Porter and arranged by Jack Gale; "America the Beautiful," by Samuel Ward, and arranged by Robert Elkjer; and "Christmas Ornaments," an arrangement of classic Christmas music by Rodney Miller and James Erdman.

The members of the Trombone Ensemble include Neil Keating, a sophomore from Akron; Ryan Krieg, a freshman from Orwell; Jared Shive, a freshman from Canton; Aaron Thornberry, a senior from Massillon; Drew Thornberry, a sophomore from Massillon; Brandi Tolson, a junior from Beloit and Jason Young, a sophomore from Wexford, PA. The ensemble is under the direction of John Olsson, a private music instructor at the college.

The concert is free and open to the public.
