Mount Union College Women?s Chorus and Fire-Engine Choir to Present Recital April 16

The Mount Union College Women's Chorus and 'Fire Engine' Choir, conducted by Dr. Scott Dorsey, associate professor of music, will be performing on Monday, April 16 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

The Women's Chorus will be performing Sing Dem Hern by Michael Praetorius, Non Nobis Domine by William Byrd, O Vos Omnes by Tomas Luis de Victoria, Erh'remich, wenn ich rufe by Heinrich Sch'tz, The Eyes of All by Robert Edward Smith, Peace I Leave with You arranged by D. Moore and Friday Night Chopsticks arranged by The Ladies of the Ensemble.

The Fire-Engine Choir's program will be announced from stage.

The Women's Chorus was developed in 1996 after an interest in single-gender material in an informal setting.

The 'Fire-Engine' Choir was developed in 1996 to meet the many requests received for performances by College singers in the Alliance area and throughout northeast Ohio.
