Mount Union College Women?s Chorus in Concert April 17

Mount Union College will present the Women's Chorus in concert on Monday, April 17 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.


The concert will be directed by John M. Roberts, lecturer of music and accompanied by pianist Janelle Phinney, lecturer of music.

Selections for the performance include 'Wir eilen mit schwachen, doch emsigen Schritten' by J. S. Bach; 'Under the Greenwood Tree' by C. M. Schearer; 'Go 'way From My Window' arranged by Ruth Artman featuring Abigail Sevcik, a freshman of Minerva on piano; 'The Swallow' arranged by Ruth Elaine Schram; 'Three Folk Songs' and 'A Thought Like Music' by Johannes Brahms; 'Call of the Flowers' by Leo Delibes; 'Child With the Starry Crayon' by Eleanor Daley; 'Castle on a Cloud' (from 'Les Miserables') by Claude-Michael Schoenberg featuring Jessica DeWitt, a freshman of Loudonville on piano; 'For Good' (from 'Wicked') by Stephen Schwartz featuring soloists Emily Johnson, a sophomore of Chagrin Falls and Heather Smogor, a junior of Steubenville; 'America' (from 'West Side Story') by Leonard Bernstein and 'I Leave You With a Song' by John Carter.
