Mount Union Crowns 2015 Homecoming King and Queen

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The University of Mount Union crowned Will Yobi and Jenna Belli as the 2015 Homecoming King and Queen during halftime of Saturday’s football game versus Ohio Northern.

Belli, a senior environmental science major of Toronto, Ohio, is vice president of Chapter Life of Delta Sigma Tau, a member of Student Alumni Association and a served as a student leader for the Wilderness Experience. Belli is also a Preview/Orientation Guide.

Yobi, a biochemistry major of Canfield, Ohio, is the vice president of Phi Kappa Tau, a member of the Pre-Health Professionals Club, a member of Student Alumni Association and a Preview/Orientation Guide.

Other candidates for king included Michael Gates, Kevin Intihar, Kyle Pavilonis and Daniel Pritchard.

Gates, a marketing major of Tallmadge, Ohio, is a member of the American Marketing Association, Phi Kappa Tau and Order of Omega. He is vice president of Student Senate, a facilitator to Greek Member Academy and has been on the Dean’s List for multiple semesters.

Intihar, a psychology major of Willoughby, Ohio, has been a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, an executive board member of Up ‘Til Dawn, a Preview/Orientation Guide and on the Dean’s List for multiple semesters.

Pavilonis, an accounting major of Chargin Falls, Ohio, is a member Alpha Tau Omega, treasurer of Student Senate, a member of Accounting Club and Alpha Lambda Delta and has been on the Dean’s List for multiple semesters.

Pritchard, a biology major of Rocky River, Ohio, is a member of Order of Omega and the Association of Pre-PA Students. He is the president of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, is on the executive board for Student Senate, is a participant in the Honor’s Program and has been on the Dean’s list for multiple semesters.

Other candidates for queen included Daria Chalupa, Hannah Ernst, Jena Finch and Mackenzie Shivers.

Chalupa, an exercise science and German major of Parma, Ohio, is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, Who’s Who Among Students, German Club, Committee on Student Organizations and the Association of Women’s Students. She is president of Student Senate, a student representative for AQIP-SC, a member of the Women’s History Month committee, a personal trainer in the MAAC and has been on the Dean’s List for multiple semesters.

Ernst, an athletic training major of Lorain, Ohio, is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, a member of the Athletic Training Club and coordinates Greek Leadership Institute. She is also president of Alpha Chi Omega, a Preview/Orientation Guide and has been on the Dean’s List for multiple semesters.

Finch, an intervention specialist major of Boardman, Ohio, is a member of Common Sense Action, a member of Alpha Xi Delta, vice president of Kappa Delta Pi and has been on the Dean’s list for multiple semesters.

Shivers, a marketing and management major of Salem, Ohio, is the president of Delta Sigma Tau, member of Blue Key, member of Order of Omega, student coordinator for Preview and Orientation, is a facilitator to Greek Member Academy, and has been on the Dean’s List for multiple semesters.
