Mount Union Graduate Zucal ‘92 to Speak on His Experiences

October 02, 2017

ALLIANCE, Ohio – On Monday, October 9, the University of Mount Union will host Jeff Zucal ‘92, the founder and president of Sky Sweeping, who will be sharing his unique entrepreneurial story with the Mount Union community.

Zucal spent the first ten years after graduation working with Merrill Lynch, a wealth management division of Bank of America, before leaving to found his own company with one truck and a lot of hope. Sky Sweeping is now a successful parking lot cleaning company with a whole fleet of trucks and over 3500 clients fueling growth both organically and through acquisition.

Mount Union students taking ENT 150, and other students pursuing an entrepreneurship minor, will be coming to hear Zucal talk about his experiences, but the event is also open to other members of the Mount Union and Alliance communities. The event will be held October 9 at 6:30 p.m. in Room 216 of the Engineering and Business Building on Mount Union’s campus.

The minor in entrepreneurship is administered by Mount Union’s Department of Economics, Accounting and Business Administration. The minor pairs well with the majors in the department, but the entrepreneurship skills and knowledge students will take away from this educational experience will truly give them a competitive edge after graduation, whatever their major may be.

The discussion is funded through the Burton D. Morgan Foundation out of Hudson, Ohio. To learn more about Mount Union’s entrepreneurship minor visit
