Mount Union Homecoming King And Queen Crowned

ALLIANCE, Ohio - During halftime of the Mount Union College vs. Ohio Northern University football game this weekend, seniors Tyrone Jimmison and Nicole Chapman were crowned Homecoming King and Queen.

Jimmison, an exercise science major from Cleveland, Ohio, represented Phi Kappa Tau fraternity on the Homecoming Court.

In addition to serving on the executive board of Phi Kappa Tau, he is also a four-year member of the Mount Union swim team and a member of the Interfraternity Council.

The son of Tyrone and Cynthia Jimmison, he is a 1998 graduate of Shaker Heights High School.

Chapman, a mass media major from Painesville, Ohio, represented Alpha Chi Omega sorority on the Court.

She has also served as Greek editor of the Dynamo student newspaper, a staff member of the Unonian yearbook and program director of WRMU 91.1 FM student radio station. She is also a member of the Association of Women in Communication, publicity director for Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity and chair of the College's 2000 Dance Marathon committee.

The daughter of Sharon Chapman and Rich Chapman, she is a 1998 gradaute of Perry High School.
