ALLIANCE, Ohio - Mount Union College will host the 2001 Faculty Art Show reception on Saturday, September 1 from 3-5 p.m. in the Crandall Art Gallery, located on the Mount Union campus.

Original artwork from Mount Union faculty members Joel Collins, Tim Hallaran, and Keith McMahon have been on display in the gallery since August 18, and will remain available for public viewing until September 28.

Collins, professor of art and department chair, has been at the College since 1978. He earned his bachelor of arts degree from Alderson-Broaddus College and his master of fine arts degree from West Virginia University. Collins has also entered his works in national competitions and has won numerous awards.

Tim Hallaran, lecturer of art, is a graduate of Kent State University at which he earned his bachelor of fine arts and his masters of fine arts. He was also a graduate teaching assistant while at Kent State. He came to Mount Union in 2000.

William McMahon, assistant professor of art, joined the department in 1991. He is a graduate of Kishwaukee College where he earned his associate of science degree. He also earned his bachelor or arts degree from Mount Union College and his master of fine arts from Kent State University.

Members of the community are welcome to attend the September 1 reception and meet the faculty members displaying their work.
