The ensemble adapts each semester to the types of instruments in the group, so there is always something new to hear. The Jazz Band rehearses twice a week, and is open to all musicians attending Mount Union, whether a music major or not, who are interested in exploring the nuances of the vast landscape that is jazz music.
The performance is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Mount Union’s Department of Music at (330) 823-2180.
