Mount Union Music Department Presents Faculty Showcase Recital

The music department of Mount Union College will present a faculty showcase recital on Monday, September 8 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.


The recital will feature performances by various faculty members, including Amanda-Joyce Abbott, lecturer and private music instructor in voice; Elaine Anderson, assistant professor of music; Nicole Lee, lecturer and accompanist; Dean Newton, private music instructor in guitar; James Perone, assistant professor of music; Kathy Reichenberger, accompanist; Betty Sue Shultz, private music instructor in oboe; Bohdan Subchak, private music instructor of violin; Robin Tryon, lecturer and private music instructor in flute; and Kenneth Wilhelm, private music instructor of voice.

There will be performances of works by Handel, Menselssohn and Bach, some traditional Chippewa Nation and Yuchi Nation music, a piece from "Cinema Paradiso," and "Song for September 8, 2003," by faculty member James Perone.

The recital is free and open to the public.
