MOUNT UNION NATURE CENTER TO HOLD PROJECT LEARNING TREE WORKSHOP

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- The John T. Huston - Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center of Mount Union College will hold the workshop Project Learning Tree (PLT) Saturday, February 24 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
A nationally acclaimed program based on trees and forests, PLT is a workshop designed for teachers and adult leaders who work with children grades K-12. All participants will learn how to use the PLT materials and will receive a copy of the 402-page PLT curriculum guide.
Participants should bring a sack lunch and dress appropriately for the weather.
Project Learning Tree is a limited enrollment workshop, intended primarily for adults and older youth through pre-registration by calling (330) 823-7487.
All workshops are free and will begin at the Visitors Center. The Nature Center is located six miles south of the Mount Union campus on St. Rt. 183.
