MOUNT UNION NATURE CENTER TO HOLD SKY WALK WORKSHOP

April 27, 2010

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- The John T. Huston - Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center of Mount Union College will take participants on a "Sky Walk" Sunday, February 18 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

With Venus at its widest angle from the sun in years, weather permitting, it should be easy to spot in the night sky these first few months of 2001, and there is a chance that Saturn and Jupiter may also be visible.

Sky Walk is a limited enrollment workshop, open to adults and older youth through pre-registration by calling 823-7487.

Interested sky watchers are encouraged to dress warmly for the nocturnal adventure and asked to be aware that the program will be cancelled if the sky is cloudy.

For more information, call (330) 823-7487. All workshops are free and will begin at the Visitors Center. The Nature Center is located six miles south of the Mount Union campus on St. Rt. 183.
