Mount Union Observes Crime Victims’ Rights Week

The University of Mount Union will host a short program in respect of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week from noon – 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 14 in the East Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center.
The event will honor all former and current crime victims and reshape the future for victims of crime in the Stark County community. The event will feature a survivor testimony, and Janet Weir Creighton, vice president of the Board of Stark County Commissioners will be a featured guest.
National Crime Victims’ Rights Week is being coordinated by the Victims’ Rights Coalition, University of Mount Union, Alliance for Children and Families, Alliance Area Domestic Violence Shelter and the Children’s Network of Stark County. Similar events will be held Thursday at Walsh University and the Massillon Salvation Army.
