Mount Union Plans Fun Day Fridays

ALLIANCE, Ohio — The University of Mount Union’s first “Fun Day Friday” will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, September 14 in the Academic Mall.

Events will include face painting, a photo booth, a sidewalk chalk competition, a “Can the Muskies” football throwing contest, organizational booths and music. Additionally, the students of Margo Miller, associate professor of art and director of the Crandall Art Gallery, will do live painting on easels during the event.

Joseph Twitty will act as DJ for the event and will take student requests throughout the afternoon. The marching band will play at 4:15 p.m., and a barbershop quartet led by junior music education major Sean Eppler of Mentor will sing at 5 p.m. A drum tribe will also perform.

All Mount Union students, faculty and staff, alumni and community members are invited to join.

The second Fun Day Friday will take place on September 28 in the Academic Mall.
