Mount Union Plans Hunger Awareness Event

ALLIANCE, Ohio — The University of Mount Union will host a Stop Hunger Now meal packaging event from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 15 in the Hoover-Price Campus Center.

Mount Union students involved in Spiritual Life, Student Senate, Raider Relief, TOMS Club, Kappa Phi, Future Christian Athletes and others will package 12,000 meals for Stop Hunger Now. Each Stop Hunger Now meal costs 25 cents.

This year’s Stop Hunger Now goal is to have more than 60 people in the Kresge Dining Commons to put together a nutritious meal that will feed children in school feeding programs that will then go to 76 countries. Those interested in helping to pack meals or make a donation should visit
