The Mount Union Players will present "Spinning Into Butter," October 3 - 5 at 8 p.m. in Rodman Playhouse.
"Spinning Into Butter," a drama by Rebecca Gilman focuses on a racial incident on a fictional liberal arts college campus in Vermont. The play debuted at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago in 1999. It was then produced in New York at the Lincoln Center Theatre.

Desperate to keep news of the event from reaching the media, white faculty members labor to find a quick solution to protect the college's reputation. Sarah Daniels, the newly hired dean of students tries in vain to defuse the rapidly escalating whirlwind of emotions stirred up among administration and students.
